The gorgeous icy color of blue curacao is the star of this cocktail. Curacao’s bitter orange flavor is rounded out with fruity white cranberry and lime juice, with a little extra sweetness from the sugar rim, making it practically tropical in comparison with other wintertime drinks. If you’re stuck with an unseasonably warm December too, at least we’ve got the perfect drink for a blue blue Christmas!
We’re in the final week for the 12 Drinks of Christmas! I hope this series has sparked all sorts of new ideas for your holiday celebrations. I’m sharing one more cozy family-friendly drink on Thursday, and then on Saturday I’ve got a sparkling sipper that’s absolutely perfect for both Christmas morning brunch and New Year’s Eve toasting!
This last week of holiday craziness has me wanting to just dive right into that icy blue glass for the evening. Let’s all just take a collective deep breath and promise ourselves a nice, quiet evening to relax this week, okay? Go ahead and shake up a pitcher now so it’s ready to pour when you finally check off that last box on your to-do list!
T-minus one week!! Are you ready for the big day to be here or are you on the same strugglebus as me?!
