I’ve got holiday food on my mind already. I’m a big believer in not rushing the holidays – and especially not forgetting my favorite, Halloween!
If you’re grilling out this weekend for Labor Day, you’ve got to add this tomato pomegranate salad to your cookout menu! It’s gloriously colorful and absolutely bursting with freshness, perfect alongside grilled meats.
This summer heat has me daydreaming about really good salads, which I can pretty confidently say is a first. Happily this wild rice and edamame salad checks off all of our summer dream ingredients: tomatoes, mozzarella, edamame, and lick-the-spoon-delicious avocado-lemon-basil dressing!
This weekend is the official kickoff of picnic season! I’m so ready for windy morning hikes and hot afternoons by the creek.
Pasta salad with no mayo, no mustard, and less pasta than meats & cheeses – this is not your usual picnic salad! Taking all the fillings of a good N’awlins muffuletta sandwich and tossing them with pasta is a guaranteed favorite that’s always on request in our house.
I’ve hit the mid-January superfood slump. My rah-rah enthusiasm for kale has been almost completely replaced with dreams of gooey cheese dips.
Anyone else still dragging from a major sugar coma? All of us?
Friends, this SAUCE. ♡ Soy-garlic-lime-peanutty goodness with a big kick of fresh ginger is my new favorite!
Ginger + honey + grapefruit might be my new favorite flavor for summer! Sweet local honey mellows out the tartness of the citrus, but it’s the freshly grated ginger that really shines.
Friends, if you only make one thing this weekend, let it be this. I am utterly obsessed with this tangy-spicy-salty salad, like gone-in-24-hours-all-by-myself obsessed, and I want to share this happiness.
